You may apply for continuing education equivalency for a non-Board approved course using the "Request for Equivalent Approval of Continuing Education" form. The fee is $50 per course.

If the course is an asynchronous course, the course delivery mechanism must have current approval by an organization approved by the AQB, such as IDECC, in order to receive equivalent approval. Email the Board with any questions - ncab@ncab.org. 

A trainee, licensee or certificate holder may receive continuing education credit by taking any of the Board's approved pre-licensing courses, other than Basic Appraisal Principles, Basics Appraisal Procedures or their approved equivalents. To request credit, you will need to email a copy of the course completion certificate requesting the Board to apply those hours towards your CE. It is unnecessary to send requests for more than 30 hours. No continuing education credit shall be given for courses taken before the student was registered as a trainee.
